A site license is required to manufacture, package, label, import or distribute natural health products in Canada. The license issued by the Minister of Health for Canada certifies that products from Emerald are manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practices for the natural health industry.

The Good Manufacturing Practices at the Emerald production facility ensure that natural health products are safe, effective and of the highest quality.
